Fortuna Admissions Senior Expert Coach

Meet Dylan

Dylan’s expertise stems from a decade of experience in diverse higher education, consulting, and research settings – exposure that informs his ability to coach law school applicants with disparate academic and industry experience. As a former JD admissions reader at Harvard Law School, Dylan reviewed thousands of domestic and international applications during his tenure on staff. His coaching not only benefits from deep evaluative experience at the admissions table, but also from an expert grasp of the current higher education policy and industry environments. Benefiting from graduate-level training in the humanities, arts, and social sciences, Dylan prides himself on top-notch rhetorical skill and an ability to work with clients across the ideological spectrum. Prior to his work at HLS, Dylan successfully coached applicants applying to undergraduate, JD, MBA, and PhD programs. Dylan holds an Ed.M. from the Harvard Graduate School of Education where he received his degree in Education Policy and Analysis with a concentration in Higher Education. During this time, he held a graduate assistantship in Harvard Business School’s Office of MBA Admissions where he worked on the outreach and diversity recruitment teams. Dylan also earned an M.A. in Art History from the University of Southern California and a B.A. in the same discipline, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Haverford College. Before entering the admissions field, Dylan’s academic work investigated the intersections of consumerism, gender, and visual culture in the 19 th -century transatlantic world. Meet Jayne

Jayne offers clients a unique combination of admissions experience in both JD and JD/MBA dual-degree formats that her clients find infinitely valuable. Jayne started her career in investment banking, then shifted to JD admissions and recruiting for the top Health Law program in the US. As a member of the Saint Louis University School of Law Admissions Committee, she was responsible for evaluating all JD program application components and rendering admission decisions. Jayne's role also provided an opportunity to travel to colleges and universities across the US where she met with prelaw advisors and law school candidates to share admissions tips and strategies. She made sure to stay connected to the candidates she admitted during their law school journey by creating and leading the SLU Law Ambassador program. Shifting her focus to MBA admissions at Arizona State University, and most recently with the Kellogg School of Management, provided Jayne the opportunity to work with a new graduate school applicant population and continue to work with JD applicants. In addition to selecting candidates for the full-time MBA program at the Kellogg School of Management, she also worked directly with the JD Admissions team at the Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law on candidate evaluation for JD-MBA program admission. The JD-MBA program at Northwestern University is the largest of its kind in the country and was the first to develop a three-year program completion model. Of utmost importance to Jayne during her time at Kellogg was ensuring students admitted to the dual JD-MBA program had the skills to be successful in both academic environments. Jayne has a BA and BS from Saint Louis University in History and Business Administration, respectively, and a MA in History from Arizona State University.
